Traverse Walls

Maximise any space with climbing routes that are sure to challenge and inspire! Traverse walls are perfect for spaces with limited height. Hangfast can convert any wall into a traverse wall adventure – even a corridor, making any limited space interesting space for the user.

Traverse walls are up to two metres high and can be built along an existing wall or free-standing structure. The only limit to how long they can be is how much length is available!

Traverse walls are increasingly popular with schools and sports facilities as they are simple and cost effective whilst offering a good climbing experience. They are used both inside and outside and are a great addition to other playground and recreational equipment. They are ideal in many situations as no specialist gear is required (such as ropes and harnesses) and no need for the presence of qualified staff to enable people to climb on them.

Traverse walls can be made by attaching holds to an existing wall, or we can design and build a wall for you containing many interesting features and finishes. Climbing across a traverse wall requires co-ordination and balance, as well as the ability to think before you make your move; great skills to develop in people of all abilities
