XHeight Centres Blossom into Phase II
Ready2Climb and Grip&Go expand with new Lead Climbing Walls
XHeight centres have been successfully up and running for over 3
years and a generation of young climbers are now looking to take the
next step in their climbing development.
We've been working with two existing XHeight centres to bring them traditional climbing walls with steeper gradients and some longer routes to cater for customers who are clamouring for more.
Traditional climbing walls act as a fantastic compliment to XHeight and help to create a climbing centre with even wider appeal.
Ready2climb in Yeovil have been carefully expanding their offering from an initial 11 XHeight themes. The centre now boasts; 12 XHeight walls, a Traverse Wall, Top-rope Walls and an overhanging Lead Climbing Wall going up this week. This centre was the first to invest in XHeight and they certainly have a busy work schedule!
The Adrenaline Centre in Haslingden has had huge success with XHeight. The centre has now created a community of climbers that wanted to take their experience to the next level.
To cater for the demand they have added a traditional Lead Climbing wall 9m high with an overhang, slab and abseil platform. This helps them to meet requirements to offer sections of the NICAS and GCSE climbing syllabuses, but more importantly to keep young climbers coming back.
